How To: Delete your Wellnomics App data file

Occasionally, you may need to delete the wellnomics.wcd file and restart the application. This file contains your user account information and remains undeleted even when the application is uninstalled.

Windows

On a Windows PC, you can use File Explorer to go to your roaming app data folder, locate the Wellnomics folder, and remove the wellnomics.wcd file contained within.

1. Stop the Wellnomics App

Expand your hidden icon try on the far right of the windows task bar
right click the Wellnomics icon
select 'Exit'

2. Delete the WCD file:

To reach the file you need to navigate to your profiles Wellnomics roaming appdata folder

the pathway will look like this: 'C:\users\your_user_profile\AppData\Roaming\Wellnomics'
you can also just type %appdata%\Wellnomics
Then delete the wellnomics.wcd file

3. Restart the Application

Search windows for 'Wellnomics'
Click the app and select Open, or just double click it to open

MacOS

On your menu bar right click the Wellnomics icon and select Exit
Open your terminal app and enter the following command to delete your data file
1. rm -f ~/Library/Application\ Support/Wellnomics/wellnomics.wcd
Now restart the Application.
1. Open Launchpad and search for 'Wellnomics' then double click the app to start it.

At this point the app will begin the authentication process again and take you to our website to have you sign in. Enter your email address and password and the app should authenticate and connect to your account.
