As you work down the options the frequency and enforcement levels increase.  Meaning more breaks more often and stronger enforcements.

The three sections your breaks settings impact are:

  1. Microbreak - a short break in work.  It is recommended to take a break at 5 minutes after continuous computer use (keyboard and mouse activity) to relax the muscles.
  2. Wellbeing break - approx 5 minute break from your workstation where you can choose to perform some stretch exercises, or even better, to get up and move e.g. go to talk to a colleague or go for a walk around the office.
  3. Daily Usage - a reminder when you have used the keyboard and mouse for x hours of the day

If you have a sit-stand desk the changing of your height position on a regular basis will provide additional movement and increase your wellbeing score too.
