Report on Behalf of is a feature that enables supervisor/manager access rights of one user to be given to another user within your database via the HR import file.

Note: the HR import option only supports the supervisor role. when activated the Local Administrator role can't be delegated.

To allow the HR Import to control the values for Report on Behalf of, the following two settings must be selected:

  1. Enable reporting on behalf of managers
  2. HR import controls Report on Behalf of

To check settings see following article Delegated Reporting - Wellnomics Administrator controls

When the HR import is the centralized controller the HR file MUST contain the column "reportonbehalf" header.

The import will fail if the column with the exact heading is not present.

Note: the HR import controls Report on Behalf of is also on the admin site available to the HR importer.

  1. Select HR import
  2. Select HR import settings
  3. Either tick or untick the HR import controls Report on Behalf of

When either the System Preferences or the HR import settings option is selected both tick boxes will be updated (they are a dual control).

Once configured you can then run the HR import - How to run an HR import?

Tip: When using the HR import file to manage delegation if there are no details populated in the column then all report on behalf of previous configurations will be cleared and no one will have this functionality.

You can review the output of your HR import file via the details icon on HR Import > View HR import status page in the Admin site. The changes or failed updates will be listed beside User Change.
